Creating a project from a template allows you to easily get the properties of the template to your project. You can create conceptual or reference documentation based on a sample project.

To create a project from template, perform the following steps:

1. Click the Application button and select New > Empty Project. A New Project dialog box is displayed.
2. In the Template dropdown menu, you will find the following options:

• Based on a HelpStudio Sample - Create a new project based on the sample project.
• Based on a Document! X Sample - Create reference documentation samples for .NET Assembly, Database, COM (ActiveX), XSD, Web Service, JavaScript and JAVA.
